World of Warcraft - Druid tanks with PVP gear?

I have an 85 bear tank who is having.. let's call it, gear issues. Basically, i've noticed that a lot- scratch that- all tank gear that's pre-raid has terrible stats compared to pvp gear. So i have a few pieces of epic pvp gear (Helm, shoulder, chest) except i reforge for dodge and mastery and gem all non-pvply and whatever. I know the resilience on it is awful for tanking and utterly useless, but the stats and everything else make it seem to me like it's BiS pre-raid druid gear. But i have people that are constantly like 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING, THAT'S SO WEIRD. IT HAS RESIL. REMOVE IT RIGHT NOW.' and i'm afraid when I do get into my first raid (Currently gearing in 'roics) that the raid leader is going to take one look at me and go LOL YOUS AN IDIOT and kick me or something. I just want the Y!A WoW-players opinions in it. Is it okay for me to use pvp gear in three slots? Just a note if you skimmed- I do not have a FULL pvp set on for pve things, just 3 pieces.
